with a Concert Fundraiser by The Nuggs
The Olive Free Library Association is pleased to present its fifth annual juried summer group exhibition, this year titled Fresh Air. The show runs from July 23 to September 10, with an opening reception and concert fundraiser featuring The Nuggs on Saturday, July 23, from 3 to 5 pm. The exhibition has been juried by well-known Hudson Valley artist Jenny Nelson. The concert will take place on the Olive Free Library’s front lawn. Drinks and snacks will be provided. A $10 donation is suggested.
The Olive Free Library’s Exhibition committee is very excited that regional band The Nuggs has agreed to perform on the Olive Library’s front lawn, raising funds for its exhibitions program. The July 23 combined art opening and concert event will be one of the highlights of the Library’s summer season. The Nuggs consisting of musical talent Jon Coghill, Amit Shamir, and Sean Tarleton, all residents of Olive, will delight the audience with their tasty groove music, perfect for a summer afternoon of dancing or just enjoying the sounds.
Featuring 45 works by 42 different local and regional artists, covering all styles and media, the exhibition is hung in the Olive Library’s spacious Community Gallery. The participating artists are:
