In this beginner class you will learn the basics of hand embroidery by creating a small sampler of stitches inspired by folklore embroidery. Taught by textile artist Kati Lovasz, who uses her background in Eastern European folk art and embroidery to introduce people to the joy of handstitching, slowing down, and creating together. You will leave class with your finished stitch sampler and an additional design that you will have the tools and knowledge to complete on your own. All materials and tools will be provided.
