GO FIGURE!

The Olive Free Library has created a platform to show and sell the art of regional artists, both established and emerging. This provides art enthusiasts a way to view, appreciate, and purchase local and regional artworks.

GO FIGURE! features the figurative work of four well established Hudson Valley artists. “Figurative art is one of humanity’s oldest forms of artistic expression, and has helped reveal the human condition for millennia,” says curator Linda Lynton. “The figurative work of these four artists reveals the breadth of style and insight currently found in the region. Their work ranges from classical portraiture to contemporary styles, revealing current social and political concerns as well as the spiritual beauty of the human face and form.”

Participating artists: Eddi Fleming, Keith Gunderson, Claire Lambe, and John A. Varriano.

Exhibition Dates: May 18 – July 6, 2019
Opening Reception: May 18, 2 – 4 pm

Proudly sponsored by Coldwell Banker Timberland Properties, Boiceville Wines and Spirits, and Bread Alone.
