The Ulster  County Older Adults Empowerment Council will be presenting a panel discussion, headed by folks who are in SSIP groups around the area (Settled and Serving in Place), groups of older adults who have banded together somewhat formally to support and help each other age in their homes, with help and support form neighbors, and trusted helpers, and be able to trust to avoid scams and exploitation. 

They will also have some groups presenting from Vet2Vet, who have formed small support groups for veterans, and the Catkskill Neighbors, who have formed a neighbor group who help isolated seniors in their homes in rural regions of the county and the surrounding area.
